Good Blog . I think Ennis has a good year . I am hoping for 25 - 30 goals and 30 -35 assists.

great read(reed, reid) boos.

I really like Ennis. He can hold onto the puck too long sometimes, but when you play with scrubs a majority of the year, I don't blame him.

He seemed to gel real well with Moulson last season. If I'm Nolan, I try to re-ignite that chemistry.

Agree 100%, but with who? Stafford (contract year) could be awesome, or do you try to spark Stewart or Foligno and add a big man?

Great read Michael. On another note, I wonder how long till an oilers fan tells us Gagner is/was better

Which is so weird considering he's onto his 2nd team since being traded.

Not that I want to start this up again (okay maybe i do) but if his last name was some random Russian/european sounding like...err...Grigorenko, his ass would have been fed to the wolves by canadian fans/media years ago.

His last name, heritage and the fact that he played on the knights bought him way too many chances.

Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the team if we draft Svechnikov and Korostelev this year to go along with Girgensons, Grigorenko, Ristolainen and Zadorov. I can already picture RJ throwing a fit mid broadast and storming off.

It would be interesting to see (in preseason) the line of Ennis centering Grigo and Stewart. Yes, I believe Grigo should spend the year in Rochester. But With Ennis and his speed i wonder if it would wear off on Grigo. Grigo's talent is there the feet just need to catch up, which could also benefit the talent of Ennis. Stewart would be nice to see driving the net with his stick on the ice expecting a pass from anywhere...Just wishful thinking in Grigo

"Low hanging fruit."

(two thirds of pun is "p-u").

PS. She asked me for some double entendre: so I gave it to her.

You should read the Yotes blogger...... He thinks Gagner is a 65-70 point player this season playing with line mates that score less than his in Edmonton.

Anyone who watches the 2 would tell you Ennis is the better player.

Ennis hope: 28 goals

Ennis likely reality: 18 goals

Pachla is smart because he posts new blogs at that right time of day before we posters(who are pretending to work) let the convo drift into fantasy football, wings, beer, page 10 and other such things. Also the blogs are too good to be ignored.

Well if they got a 65 - 70 point player for a sixth round pick . All the other teams in the NHL will look like fools . My guess is 30 points.

thank you, kind sir...

as for ennis, he's hit 20 and 21 goals in both of his full seasons (82 and 80 games, respectively)...should he play a full season, his projection would be 21 goals...

idk...i'd put an over/under for him at 25 goals on the year, based upon more ice time and his coaching
